Ice Storm 2007

Hi All,

We are having an ice storm here right now. Tracy went out and took some pictures. This is the ice after about 18 hours. School was canceled for today. Although the roads are heavily salted and relatively ice free, everything else is coated in ice and treacherous.

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa Holtey. They headed out this morning in the snow.

Hi,

Everyone is having a great time here in Kansas. Although, we had to give Grandma and Grandpa extra blankets because they were being wimpy about it being in the 30's. Ben enjoys going shopping and getting to ride with Grandpa on the wheelchair. Grandma has been scrap booking up a storm. Cathy is getting spoiled by parking in the handicapped spots. ;)

Christmas Draw

I think the Christmas Draw Monatary Limit, CDML, should be $10 for every member of the family of which you draw. That way Sherri's worst fears would be realized as she would only get a $10 gift and be required to give a $80 gift to someone like Cathy.... just kidding guy, but really this whole thing about feeling required to buy gifts for a family and feeling left out or what ever is rediculous, It is Christmas after all..... so lets get back the meaning of the season and just have fun!! it would be a shame if the reunion ended up as the Christmas draw has....
